⛰️ Citrine Nine-Tailed Fox — Magnetism & Being Seen
Hand-carved in Donghai, China — the Crystal Capital of the World — and blessed with intention before it ships to you. Align your energy with the wisdom of the Five Elements and ancient Eastern tradition.
What It Is
The 九尾狐 is the fox of Chinese legend that grows a tail for every century it lives. Nine tails is the full span — the figure at its most complete.
Why This One
- In the current 九紫离火 period (2024–2043) the fox is the most requested carving on the market.
- Read as the figure of magnetism, quick wit and getting noticed.
- The tail fan is the hardest part to cut — each tail should separate cleanly.
- Cut from warm golden yellow, the colour of late light — no two pieces identical.
How to Judge It
Every carving in this collection is checked against the same standard:
- Tails — count them. Nine should be countable without guessing.
- Tail separation — clean gaps, not a solid fan with grooves cut in.
- The face — eyes and muzzle are cut last and are where lesser carvings go soft.
- The base — flat, so it stands without rocking.
Five Elements
Citrine belongs to Earth (土) and works with the Solar Plexus chakra. It is used for magnetism & being seen.
Where It Belongs
- Desk, vanity or studio — somewhere you are seen.
- Face it out toward the room, not the wall.
- Not the bedroom.
How to use it
- Put it where you work, not where you rest. — This is a carving for visibility. It belongs on the desk you sit at, not the shelf you walk past.
- Face it toward the room. — The tradition has the fox looking out at whoever enters.
- Dust the tails with a dry brush. — The gaps collect dust. A soft brush, dry, once a month.
Care
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid water, oils and harsh chemicals.
- The tails are the thinnest part — pick it up by the body, never the fan.
