Clear Quartz Four-Season Bean – Steady Fortune All Year | Hand-Carved in Donghai, China

🗡️ Clear Quartz Four-Season Bean — Steady Fortune All Year

Hand-carved in Donghai, China — the Crystal Capital of the World — and blessed with intention before it ships to you. Align your energy with the wisdom of the Five Elements and ancient Eastern tradition.

What It Is

The 四季豆 (also 福豆) is the bean pod. In Chinese the word for bean, 豆, sounds like the word for a measure of money — and a pod with beans inside reads as wealth held. Four beans is the standard: one for each season.

Why This One

• The number of beans carries meaning — three for the three stars of fortune, four for the four seasons.
• A pod that is full but not bursting is the ideal.
• A traditional gift for a new venture.
• Cut from transparent, holds light rather than colour — no two pieces identical.

How to Judge It

Every carving in this collection is checked against the same standard:

• Count the beans — the count is part of the meaning.
• The pod should be plump, not flat.
• The stem should be carved, not broken off.
