Chakra
The seven centres are a later framework than the Five Elements, and they reached the West through translation and reprinting rather than temple teaching. It is not a ladder you have to climb. It is a map for asking which part of your life has gone quiet, and the stones are traditionally placed on the centre that answers.
People come to these stones when:
- Everything feels urgent and nothing feels grounded, so they start at the root.
- They have gone quiet in rooms where they used to speak, so they start at the throat.
- They cannot tell what they want, so they start at the heart, slowly.
Our rose quartz reading works through the heart centre in detail and is the best place to begin.
How to choose
- One centre, one stone. A full set is pleasant, but a single clear choice gets worn more often than a stack does.
- Colour first, then stone. The tradition codes the centres by colour; leave hardness for later.
- Bead size. 8 mm keeps a stack wearable, 10 mm is the default, 12 mm for a stone you want to feel. The size guide measures the wrist.
Our mapping of these stones onto the five Chinese phases is on the Five Elements guide; the two systems answer different questions rather than competing ones.
One honest note: this is a traditional framework for organising experience, not a medical system. Nothing here diagnoses, treats or cures any condition, and no bracelet replaces a doctor.
