Career
Every tradition that talks about work names two problems: direction, not knowing which way is up, and heat, knowing where you are going with nothing left to push with. Red agate is asked for the second, citrine and green phantom quartz for the first. Success, in the older language, is not an outcome you attract; it is a phase you move through.
These are the stones people traditionally reach for:
- Before a meeting you have rehearsed and postponed twice.
- At the start of a quarter, when the plan exists but the first hour does not.
- Through a stretch of work that is entirely maintenance and no beginning.
How to choose
- By temperature, not by looks. Red agate for the days you need to move, citrine and green stones for the days direction is missing.
- By bead size. 8 mm for stacking, 10 mm most days, 12 mm when you want the weight to be noticeable. See the size guide.
- On the right wrist if you follow the rule that the right hand expresses and the left receives.
This shelf spans Fire, Wood and Earth; our explainer on the five phases sets out the cycle.
And the honest sentence: no stone here diagnoses, treats or cures anything, and none of it will get you promoted. We write about tradition, and we sell stones.
