Citrine Money Toad – Wealth Coming In | Hand-Carved in Donghai, China

⛰️ Citrine Money Toad — Wealth Coming In

Hand-carved in Donghai, China — the Crystal Capital of the World — and blessed with intention before it ships to you. Align your energy with the wisdom of the Five Elements and ancient Eastern tradition.

What It Is

The 金蟾 is the three-legged toad of Chinese folklore, said to spit coins. The three legs are the tell — a toad with four is just a toad.

Why This One

• One of the two most recognisable wealth charms in China, alongside the Pixiu.
• Traditionally placed facing inward, so what it brings stays.
• Often carved with a coin in its mouth.
• Cut from warm golden yellow, the colour of late light — no two pieces identical.

How to Judge It

Every carving in this collection is checked against the same standard:

• Three legs — count them, this is the whole point.
• The coin in the mouth should be carved, not glued.
• The back should be fully carved, not flat and plain.

Five Elements

Citrine belongs to Earth (土) and works with the Solar Plexus chakra. It is used for wealth coming in.

Where It Belongs

• A till, a counter, or a desk where money is handled.
• Face it inward — toward the room, toward you.
• Never facing out the door.

How to use it

1. Put it where money changes hands. — A till, a counter, a desk where invoices get signed.
2. Face it inward. — The tradition is specific: the toad brings money in, so it must not face the exit.
3. Dust with a dry brush. — Never wash it — the polish is not sealed.

Care

• Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid water, oils and harsh chemicals.
